Prabhas’ Fauzi was originally scheduled to hit the big screens on December 3, 2026, but the makers postponed the release because the ambitious period action drama requires additional production time. While an official revised date is still awaited, the latest reports suggest that the film is now eyeing March 18, 2027. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Fauzi is currently being prioritised by the team, with the large-scale shoot and post-production pushing the film out of its original December slot.
Spirit Stands Postponed
The reshuffle could have a direct impact on Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit. The Prabhas-starrer was officially locked for March 5, 2027, but if Fauzi takes the March 18 slot, Spirit is expected to move to the second half of 2027. This would potentially give Prabhas two major theatrical releases in the same calendar year, although it would not be a first for the superstar, who already had Adipurush and Salaar releasing in 2023. For now, the Spirit postponement remains a report rather than an official announcement.
